The HXTE5 pool cue from Pure X Technology features a bold black forearm and butt sleeve with a natural curly maple handle and maple windowpane drop speared diamond points and graphic cocobola/bocate bands.  The standard shaft is the Pure X HXT low deflection classic.

The HXTE5 cue has natural maple trim rings and butt cap, a maple wood to wood joint collar, and a 5/16 - 18 joint.

Shaft: Pure X HXT low deflection classic.
Tip: Kamui Black layered tip, soft.  This imported Japanese tip is made from premium pigskin for superior ball control and accuracy.
Tip Size: 12.75 mm.
Ferrule: A 1" HXT ferrule for drastically reduced ball deflection.  It is guaranteed for life against chipping or cracking.
Shaft Construction: Grade A North American Hard Rock Maple aged and turned 7 times to ensure quality and straightness.
Shaft Taper: The HXTE5 shaft has a pro taper for greater accuracy and control.
Joint Collar: The wood to wood joint collar is maple for a firm hit and a solid feel.
Joint: This cue has a 5/16 - 18 joint.  This joint securely locks the cue together for maximum power transfer.
Butt Construction: This cue is made from high quality hardwoods using traditional cue construction technology.  This gives you a smooth playing, long lasting, beautiful cue.
Trim Rings: The HXTE5 cue has maple trim rings.
Wrap: No wrap.
Butt Cap: The butt cap is maple for durability and has the Pure X logo.
Bumper: The large rubber bumper protects the bottom of the cue from damage.
Weight: This cue is available in weights from 18 oz. to 21 oz. in 1/2 oz. increments.

Just picked this up and played with it for several hours. Great service and excellent communication from PCE. Cue looks very nice in person and hits beautifully. The shaft plays like it's worth twice the price. The only thing I would change is using a medium tip instead of the soft.
